The ‘Twilight Saga’ franchise’s trio of stars took a huge step forward this morning in making the latest installment’s poster tagline – “Forever is only the beginning” -- a reality. A throng of Twihard fans joined Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in Hollywood this morning for a ceremony in which the trio left their hand and footprints in cement at the infamous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre “Forecourt of the Stars.”
Unlike receiving a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, this honor has only been bestowed upon only a select few. There are roughly 2400 stars compared to about 200 forecourt blocks at Grauman’s.
The attached ‘Twilight behind-the-scenes’ video seems appropriate to mark this occasion. It begins with Kristen Stewart stating, “Bella’s absolutely certain she wants to spend forever with Edward,” and now they may truly spend “forever” together, at least in Hollywood, in front of Grauman’s Theatre. It’s a very interesting video, actually, with the three young stars sharing thoughts about their individual characters as well as the entire ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’ production.
As mentioned in yesterday’s article highlighting Moviefone’s ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’ Premiere Giveaway, that production traveled from Brazil to Baton Rouge to Vancouver and surrounding areas. (The giveaway contest runs through Friday; click the preceding link for all the details.) It certainly appears fans will not be disappointed when the film opens in theaters on November 18, 2011.
