Nikki Reed, who plays Rosalie Hale in the smash hit "Twilight" is reportedly dating "American Idol" contestant Paul McDonald.
Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald apparently met on the red carpet for the premiere of "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke's "Red Riding Hood" when the raven haired beauty approached the AI contender and gushed, "You're amazing. I'm blushing. I should go."
The awkward meeting of the new couple was captured on video that you can see on your left.
Paul reportedly didn't know who Reed was but quickly asked if she was famous, stating, "I'd probably hang out with her."
The two have been hanging out ever since and Skyping often as the actress is currently filming the last "Twilight" film, "Breaking Dawn," in Canada.
Nikki Reed began her career when she helped her former stepmother, Catherine Hardwicke, write "Thirteen," which was a gritty take on Reed's experiences as a teenager. She's continued to play parts in Hardwicke's other films, as well as playing vampire Rosalie Hale in the five "Twilight" films. Reed reportedly had a romance with that other famous "Twilight" vampire, Robert Pattinson, before Pattinson and Kristen Stewart became an item. Up until that point, Reed and Stewart were locked at the hip.
