Twilight's Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Jackson Rathbone star in a new PSA for the ONE campaign.  

In an effort for ONE, the organization U2's Bono founded to fight against extreme poverty and preventable diseases, a new PSA features hugely succesful The Twilight Saga stars Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone, along with Gossip Girl stars Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, and Jessica Szohr. Other famous faces in the public service announcement are Corbin Bleu, of High School Musical fame, Heroes' Hayden Panettiere, Community's John Cho, 90210 actor Tristan Wilds, and Brandon T. Jackson. 

The PSA's purpose is to raise awareness among young people, hoping to inspire them to get involved. As it is explained on the campaign's official website, "ONE is a grassroots campaign and advocacy organization backed by more than 2 million people who are committed to the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. Cofounded by Bono and other campaigners, ONE is nonpartisan and works closely with African policy makers and activists." ONE's way of work is also explained on the website: "At ONE, we achieve change through advocacy. We hold world leaders to account for the commitments they've made to fight extreme poverty, and we campaign for better development policies, more effective aid and trade reform. We also support greater democracy, accountability and transparency to ensure policies to beat poverty are implemented effectively." Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Kellan Lutz, and Nikki Reed's presence in the PSA could be enormously helpful by engaging their millions of young fans in ONE's causes.
