The bestselling Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer has made a real splash on the iPhone. ScollMotion, the creators of the Iceberg Reader, made the Twilight saga available on the iTunes App Store yesterday, June 29th. The deal between Scrollmotion and publisher LIttle, Brown also includes titles from other authors such as Kelly Armstrong and Dorothy Koomson.
The U.K. edition of Twilight is brought to the iPhone through a deal ScrollMotion has made with LibreDigital. The deal includes distribution of books by leading publishers like HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster and Hachette.
But while the release of the U.K. edition through the app store is great news for international readers, who have been unable to read the bestselling series on their iPhone, Twilight on the iPhone is nothing new to Stanza users. It's been available through the Fictionwise store since December.
In fact, the iPhone's Stanza app might just be the reader of choice for vampire lovers. Not only can they read Twilight books, they can also enjoy the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris and the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Larrell K. Hamilton.
Stanza is a free download from the app store.
