Twilight Night at the Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club

As announced in Local doll club plans Twilight Night in August with Twilight dolls, door prizes and more, Nashville's Belle Meade Plantation Belles Doll Club is hosting a special event on August 5 for fans of dolls as well as fans of the Twilight books and movies series. With at least three companies currently producing Twilight figures and dolls--Mattel, the Robert Tonner Doll Company, and NECA--Twilight and dolls go together like Barbie and Ken, or at least Bella and Edward!

Mattel and a local Twilight group Twilight in Tennessee had already signed on to do displays and/or door prizes, and guests were assured of seeing the new Mattel Bella, Edward and Jacob dolls on display, but now it looks like some Tonner fans may get involved with the action and represent the Tonner line of Twilight dolls as well. Special guest Rebecca Jordan of Franklin, a Tonner collector and member of Tonner Talk and the Tyler Yahoo group, is bringing a Robert Tonner Edward and Bella doll to display, and the Tonner Doll Company has indicated they are interested in participating in some form or fashion.
