Robert Pattinson, the star of Twilight: 'New Moon' in a new interview with Seventeen magazine discusses being the object of rumors and how 'terrifying' it can truly be, and that the constant speculation is 'annoying' as well.
Seventeen asked Pattinson about being the constant center of attention and involved in many rumors and written about on countless gossip sites. They asked, "Is it hard to read so many rumors and so much gossip about yourself?" To which he replied, "It's terrifying, all this stuff all the time. I wish I knew how to control it. I just want to say [to the press], 'I'm never going to do anything interesting! I've never done anything interesting in my entire life!' If I had, I'd talk about it all the time! That's what is annoying about all these gossip sites -- they're like, "He thinks he's all this, he thinks he's all that." No, I really don't!"
It is hard to imagine anyone or any media entity saying such harshly negative things about Pattinson, who is known for being down to earth, because he has always greeted fans with the utmost respect.

Entertainment journalism is gossip. RP is a talented, young, handsome actor who just happened to make a movie that touched every females heart. We need to keep in mind that due to his extreme popularity whatever we read, see or hear about him is probably fiction. Every one is making stuff up to sell their magazines, newspapers and shows, to suck us in. The poor thing can't even take a walk, alone! That's the tragedy.
I do get annoyed at the constant rumors but sometimes I feel like I'm one of the ones who fuels the fire. I feel bad for him but then I look for news about him almost everyday. So I don't feel like I can condemn the media for what they are doing. However, if I ever had the chance to meet him I wouldn't be jumping on him and trying to kiss him like some of these crazy fangirls. That's just ridiculous!
I rally do see what he's getting at i mean it must rally be hard!
And i am sorry to say that before Robstan i never looked at a mag and now i make a scrap book out of it so.

i am a huge fan and love reading about him and seeing his pics and unfortunately it probably doesn't help his case, but i do hate the way the paps and fans harrass him, we can still find out about him and have pics without stalking him and invading his every move, poor bloke should be able to still have a private personaly life
I know people all around the world are waiting to see the "newest scandal" on Robert, and Iam one of them, but not for the same reasons. I like hearing the newest dish to make fun of the people who wrote and think "gees give a guy a break!" i dont think i would ever chose to be a movie star. But Robert did, and by doing that he accepted the consequences of having your life laid out for everyone to see. He knew it could happen, and he chose to do it anyway so dont feel to sorry for him.
so we all know everyone is obessed with twilight!!!!!only for one reason rob man that guy needs a break from being hounded every 2 seconds people need to get a life and leave his alone.twilight is great better than great i never read books till twilight,but the cast should be able to have there own personal lives and look i think rob is hot but jasper is by far my fav his cute/hot and i love his charcter. and kirsten she is awrsome but again i love ashely greene she is my fav.over all well done stephie myer its a great series and i carnt wait to see what you do with breaking dawn as that is my fav.
Rob's popularity is due partly becuase he is so normal, if he becomes to Hollywood his fans will not be as interested in him. Rob being humble, simple and intelligent is why we love him. I think the gossip rags and pap's are annoying I would hate to deal with it. They really ruin things for us fans that are sensible.
Rob seems to be very grounded. I hope he continues to stay grounded and not get sucked into the media frenzy. We all can see what happens to these young celebries if they start taking all this hype serious. The media builds these young actors/actresses up so they can knock them down. If Rob waits all this hype out-- invest his money wisely, he can do anything he wants to do in the future and never worry about money again. I surely hope his family are close to his side and watching out for him--family support is important. Keep up the good work Rob on handling all this with respect to your fans and your dignity intact. Keep it real...

well i think he is an amazing guy i did performing arts and he must have sum guts to stand their and do it and be amazing at it but come on leave him alone he's just like every 1 else god i probs do betta stuff but u dnt see me in any magazine its not fare on the guy he should be able to do day to day stuff and enjoy being young i apraise stephanie myers more becase if it wasnt for her he wouldnt be who he is!!! i dnt blame all the speculations about him being the hottest guy because he is a fit lad but do u all wanna make it go to his head lmao x
