'Twilight: Eclipse' actress firing was 'really terrible' says Bryce Dallas Howard
Bryce Dallas Howard entered The View coven Tuesday morning to talk about her bevy of upcoming film roles, including her role of Victoria in 'Twilight: Eclipse'. Howard was cast in the role of Victoria after Summit Entertainment booted actress Rachelle Lefevre from the 'Twilight: Eclipse' role.
The View co-host Sherri Shepherd asked Bryce Dallas Howard about taking over Lefevre's 'Twilight' series role: "You took over the role for another actress. You took that role over. Was it some pressure or did you feel like big shoes you were stepping into?"

Howard artfully deciphered Sherri Shepherd's babble and then responded:
"Yes, yeah...very much so. And i felt,...ah,...really grateful to the cast and to everyone and actually Rachelle herself just were so gracious and really,...the intention is just to make the best film possible, and you know it's,....really terrible what happened but I,...you know, did my best."
The real answer of what did happen with Lefevre's firing from 'Twilight: Eclipse' is still pretty murky. Summit Entertainment claims they released Lefevre because she had a 10 day scheduling conflict with the 'Twilight: Eclipse' shooting schedule, but Rachelle Lefevre had said she was "stunned" by the decision.
