Cleveland, OH-- Twilight at the Zoo isn’t just for the kids folks, in fact, every year the Cleveland Zoological Society hosts their annual summer music festival that swarms in over 7,500 guests at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The Society rose over $600,000 to support the upkeep of the Zoo grounds.
This year marks the 21st annual Twilight at the Zoo. Eighteen of Cleveland’s hottest local bands perform live; many local restaurants provide food, drinks and entertainment for all its supporters.
While some guests engaged in dancing, others interacted with the Samuel Adams life size poster board men- for fun candid shots, others ate,( and ate, and over ate some more), some talked to the animals and others gathered around one of the 18 bands that they loved best.
A little rain fell short on the party, but that didn’t stop the guests from dancing in the zoo streets or mingling under their umbrellas for a short time.
Once the rain vanished, the temperatures cooled down and all the glowing glasses twinkled in the night, and the “Twilight” of everyone started to really emerge.
Many familiar faces connect with the wildlife inspiring each other to engage and let loose! Sponsors included Sam Adams, Jacob’s Creek and Twisted Tea, along with Bonne Bell, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, Metro Toyota, Vitamix and along with all the local bands who donated their services for the highlight of entertainment for the night!
Amazing time to be had for all over 21. Didn't catch this year's fundraiser? Be sure to get in line fast for next year because this summer party sells out faster than the way Joe Bell "Swings" with his Lizards!
