Last night the Teen Choice awards were hosted by the teen heart throb known as the Jonas brothers. The even was filmed at Universal Studios' Gibson Amphitheater and The show included performances by the hosts Jonas Brothers,Black eyed Peas, Kingston, and Pop star/actress/entrepreneur Miley Cyrus.

Cyrus who won
6 Teen Choice awards performed "Party in the U.S.A.". She also had the honor of presenting Britney Spears the award for “The ultimate choice”. Britney was on hand to receive cheers from fans and give thanks for her award.

Comic and Daytime host Ellen DeGeneres won the first ever Teen Choice Twitter award. She was up against the Twitter master Ashton Kutcher. Ellen in true comic fashion took out her cell her phone and filmed the audience, (no doubt she tweeted it after the show) ! She thanked them for the award, and announced she is giving away $1000 this week to one lucky person on her Twitter list. That should help her top Ashtons list in record time.

One disappointment for many fans was hearing that their favorite won, but was not awarded on stage. Such was the situation for talnted singer, and former American Idol contestant David Archuleta. This year he won Teen Choice “Breakout artist of the year, Choice Music Love Song "Crush", and Choice Music Tour with Demi Lovato. Archuleta was not featured in the live stage show, possibly due to his current tour with Demi Lovato.

In other comic relief was comedian and D-List star Kathy Griffin with her date ( paparazzi bait) Levi Johnston.
OI swear Kathy Griffin is a genius!
Well there is always next year for YOUR favorites...maybe they’ll extend the show with enough time to acknowledge all the stars on stage.

Yeah too bad David couldn't be there! He had concerts every day from the 8th through the 10th. I would have enjoyed seeing him get the awards!
