Another day at 2013 CES – another dozen cool tech product introductions you might want to add to your gear collection.
Kingston introduced their Data Traveler Hyper-X Predator 3.0 USB Flash drive. With a name like that you know it’s got to be special…and it is. Capacities up to 1TB with transfer speeds up to 240MB/s read and 160MB/s write.
Escort radar detector announced their ultimate real-time ticket protection network with ESCORT LIVE! It uses Bluetooth technology embedded in the SmartCord Live cords along with your own smartphone. When alerts are detected by one car, they are reported to the cloud and relayed to other drivers in the same area.
Blue Microphones latest desktop microphone is the Nessie. This USB mic adapts in real time, applying professional studio processing, combined with a built-in pop filter and internal shock mount to produce great sound, without the need for additional mixing or editing.
Cooltopia is showing their Snappgrip – a fitted holder for an iPhone or Galaxy S3 that lets you get a more camera-like grip when using your phone to take pictures. It also provides a shutter button in the normal position for better picture taking. When you’re done taking photos, the grip slips off, leaving just the protective case on your phone.
Grokr announced their Beta launch of a new mobile service that promises to deliver information you need without having to search for it. Plug in your favorite teams and it will always provide the latest scores. It memorizes your commuting patterns and will announce if there are traffic tie-ups. Based on your preferences and your location and time of day, it will provide a screen of suggested restaurant locations, and there’s much more. Check out this free app for iOS in the app store
Timbuk2 has updated their Messenger line of bags with Joey, the removable and rechargeable battery pack that slips into its own pocket and provides emergency power to top up your smartphone or tablet.
Rambus lit up the convention center with their newest LED light bulb. It provides a traditional, omni-directional light, improved thermal management for longer life and is actually dimmable without flickering.
Origin is the newest pair of speakers from Zagg Products. The small Bluetooth speaker provides great audio but is light enough to pack in your bag and travel with you. When you get back home or to the office, pop it into the slot provided and have yourself full-sized sound from the larger desktop speaker.
I’m Watch is the Bluetooth watch that relays emails and text messages from your phone to your wrist so you need only look at your hand to see what’s happening on your social network. It tells the weather, sports scores and the time too.
Coby is proud to show off their latest MID7065 7” tablet that now comes complete with the Google Play Store, YouTube videos and the full Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. A 1.2GHz dual core processor is accompanied with 8GB of RAM and comes with HDMI out for watching movies on your big screen.

Garmin debuts their Edge 810 Connect system that measures all your bike ride statistics on your smartphone. The new user-friendly interface, along with live tracking, social media sharing and
real-time weather updates makes it perfect for training, touring and riding on the trail.
