The Cygnet Theatre has an excellent offer for you social media addicts out there. They know it is hard to put down your phone for the entire length of a play, so they say that you don’t have to do that this Friday night for their performance of “Spring Awakening”!

What better way to watch a show about some rebellious youth than being one yourself, and ignoring the turn your cell phones off” speech and using your electronics throughout the show. Join them for their first ever Tweet Night! Sit in specially designated “Tweet Seats” and you are free to tweet all show long without anyone telling you to put it down or turn it off! This event is also on their CygNext: Under 30 club night, which allows people under a certain age to get discounted $20 tickets for the show. All this includes a post show part with happy hour prices on drinks and chance to mingle with the cast!

So to recap: you can tweet from your seats, meet the cast, get discounted drinks, and be surrounded by like minded social media minded people who happen to love theatre. What are you waiting for? Get your tickets now!

Make sure you have your twitter hashtag at the ready! #ctspringawakening
