(Fox Movie Channel) SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE (2008) A young man from a poor area near Mumbai (Dev Patel) becomes a game-show contestant and explains how he knows all the right answers in this contemporary fairy tale from the director Danny Boyle. The film won eight Oscars, including best picture, best director and best adapted screenplay.
8 P.M. (WNYW FOX) GLEE Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) requests the help of a night-school teacher (Ricky Martin) in teaching the choristers a Spanish song.
8 P.M. (WNET) FREEDOM RIDERS: American Experience From May until November 1961, more than 400 Americans risked their lives -- and many endured savage beatings and imprisonment -- for simply traveling together on buses and trains as they journeyed through the Deep South. Deliberately violating Jim Crow laws, the Freedom Riders were met with racist savagery. Veteran filmmaker Stanley Nelson's documentary is the first feature-length film about this courageous band of civil-rights activists.

10 P.M. (BBC America) JAMIE’S AMERICAN ROAD TRIP The British chef Jamie Oliver concludes his first season traversing the United States with a visit to the largest American Indian reservation.
