In the last few years or so it seems like a new show comes out every season. I know for me it’s a very overwhelming feeling. And while I love to check out new shows I have had to narrow down my weekly television watching to only a select few. One of the shows that definitely made the cut was Mad Men. I first heard about it while checking through the blogosphere and it sounded interesting so I decided to check it out. I was instantly drawn into the characters stories, the time period, and of course everyone’s style. Seeing the men in their classic suits and the women in their gorgeous dresses sipping on martinis and lighting up cigarettes made me almost wish I were born during that time. Well, while we can’t go back to the 1960s I did create some looks that just might make you feel like you’re there. I created looks in the spirit of Betty Draper, Joan Holloway, Peggy Olsen, and even Don Draper (can that man dress or what?!)
