Christmas Day is a great time to be with friends, family, and loved ones as you share stories, open presents, and have great meals. It's also a day to enjoy some premiere NBA action, and there is a slate of five awesome games in store for the big holiday. As of Dec. 24, 2013, all times and channels were set so make sure you know the full television schedule of NBA games for Christmas Day 2013.
Starting things off on ESPN will be the new look Brooklyn Nets playing host to the Derrick Rose-less Chicago Bulls. Before the season, this looked like an incredibly intriguing match-up, but injuries and lackluster play has helped it lose some of its shine.
There are some better match-ups later on in the day, and the full schedule is listed below.
All times listed below are Eastern Standard Time:
- 12:00 p.m. - Chicago Bulls at Brooklyn Nets on ESPN
- 2:30 p.m. - Oklahoma City Thunder at New York Knicks
- 5:00 p.m. - Miami Heat at Los Angeles Lakers
- 8:00 p.m. - Houston Rockets at San Antonio Spurs
- 10:30 p.m. - Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors
One of the biggest things being talked about for the five games being played on Dec. 25, 2013, is that of the Christmas Day jerseys. LeBron James has already said how upset he is about them and is not happy that he'll have to wear them.
The Christmas Day jerseys are from Adidas and come with sleeves. They have the player's number on the back and also on the arms of both sleeves while the so-called NBA "BIG" logo of their team appears on the front.
