MeTV rolled out a new lineup the week of Labor day. A few syndicated shows started that week and the week after. Now the networks are getting involved with Fox starting, followed by CBS and then ABC's Friday lineup. NBC, the network in need of the biggest advantage, doesn't start their shows until most of the rest on the week of Sept 22, 2013.
The long running “Bones“ starts Mon. Sept. 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. on ch 23.1 KOKI with episode "The Secrets in the Proposal". It is followed immediately by the debut of a new show “Sleepy Hollow” at 8:00 p.m. “Sleepy Hollow” is a supernatural thriller in which Ichabod Crane gets transported to current times and has to face his arch-nemesis The Headless Horseman. Washington Irving, the writer of the novel The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, came to Tulsa in the 1800's and called what was to become Oklahoma “a great wasteland” which led Native Americans to be dumped in Oklahoma.
Fox the next day starts its comedy lineup with new show “Dads” on Tue. Sept. 17, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. on ch 23.1 KOKI. It is followed by Andy Samberg wacky cop show “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 7:30 p.m. Fading show “New Girl“ returns with new episode "All In" at 8:00 p.m. “The Mindy Project“ then follows at 8:30 p.m. with "All My Problems Solved Forever".
CBS then kicks off their new season with a new episode of “Survivor” on Wed. Sept. 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. on ch 6.1 KOTV. The theme of this season is (spoiler alert) “Blood vs Water” in which they pit Survivor all-stars in one tribe against their relatives in another tribe. Episode "Blood Is Thicker Than Anything" starts off with the two tribes stranded in the same location and this twist caused the show to have more episodes.
ABC in an attempt to strengthen their Friday starts Tim Allen comedy “Last Man Standing“ on Fri. Sept. 20, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. on ch 8.1 KTUL with episode "Back to School". It is followed by 2nd year show “The Neighbors“ at 7:31 p.m. with episode "Family Conference". “The Neighbors“ was moved from its great spot on Wednesdays and dumped on Fridays. “The Shark Tank“ which has filled numerous time-slots is dumped here on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
