Nostalgia was found on the TV Land Awards Red Carpet on Sunday. The 9th Annual TV Land Awards was the place to see famous faces of the past while remembering some of the best moments of yesteryears on television. The award show, held at the Javits Center in New York City had a reunion of famed celebrities.
The TV Land Awards Red Carpet wasn’t just about the clothes the celebrities were wearing, in fact that might have been the last thing anyone noticed, as the evening was about the celebrities themselves. Coming together to share moments from their past television jobs, the cast members were coming for a reunion special of extraordinary proportions.
Walking down the carpet, the cast members of different shows clustered together so the photographers could take their photos. There were the casts of Welcome Back Kotter, Family Ties and even The Cosby Show. There were many individuals who started on early television shows that today are superstars walking the red carpet. Michael J Fox, John Travolta and even Raven-Symone were famous faces that today have successful careers thanks to starting in television.
After the traditional walk, the stars headed inside the Javits Center to celebrate the evening. Honoring those in television who made their mark in pop culture, the evening was an audience delight.
