Kelly Ripa is one of those friend in your heads who could be an awesome auntie or fun neighbor you could gab with about practically anything. I love seeing her warm and bubbly personality on ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ each day. A former soap star on ‘All My Children,’ Kelly continues to keep us entertained with her willingness to try almost anything and witty nature. Her marriage of almost 20 years to fellow ‘All My Children’ co-star, Mark Consuelos is one for the books as it is quite obvious they have a love that continues to burn throughout the years. With such a dedication to both her marriage and career (both have been extremely successful and long-lasting), it seems Kelly is looking to change things up.
Currently listed on the market is Kelly and Mark’s SoHo penthouse. Boasting 5 bedrooms/4.5 baths, this space is beyond exceptional. For starters, it doesn’t look like an urban home in New York City as it actually has…space. With over 12 foot ceilings, there are ample and elongated views of their outdoor space (I will get to that in a moment) as the couple wisely privatized their family home via heightened greenery and wood paneling (good luck trying to sneak a peek!).
No word on if Ripa hired a decorator to style up her home, but I love the feel! There is a consistent neutral and use of natural materials that define texture in each room of the house. A love of red is quite evident as there are splashes of the sultry color around social areas of the home.
If I had the money, I would so take this home because it is the perfect retreat inside a concrete jungle. There is space, natural tranquility, modern amenities and a GLORIOUS outdoor area that includes a 3,000+ square foot private roof deck, outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen with ample seating space and a hot tub with a flat screen television. Hello!
Kelly and Mark’s home takes the cake as my favorite celebrity home of the year (will take a lot to surpass it).
