Suds of the South V returns to Wilhagan’s Sports Grille (2209 4th St, Tuscaloosa) on Saturday, March 22 to provide the folks of Tuscaloosa with the chance to experience some of the best craft beers the South has to offer.

The fifth installment of Suds of the South promises to give attendees a top notch craft beer festival experience in the intimate atmosphere provided by Wilhagan's. Not only will there be more than fifteen Alabama breweries in attendance, this event will also highlight southern craft breweries spanning from Texas to South Carolina. Although the purpose of Suds of the South is to showcase all of the amazing things brewing in the southern United States, the festival also welcomes a respected brewery from outside of the region that has been lovingly dubbed a "Southern Sympathizer". This year's festival will expand that element a bit by offering the following two "Sympathizers": New Belgium Brewing Company (Fort Collins, Colorado) and Southern Tier Brewing Company (Lakewood, New York). Organizers have been unveiling the beer list slowly through updates on their social media accounts, so make sure to give them a "like" on Facebook and follow them on Twitter to get a better idea of what offerings will be pouring at the event.

General admission tickets for this festival are $30 each before fees, and that gets you access to samples from all attending breweries between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. VIP tickets are also available for $50 each before fees, and they give you the added benefits of a souvenir t-shirt and entrance into the festival an hour early. Tickets are available online, and you can arrange yours by clicking here.

Fair warning: tickets are limited and Suds of the South has sold out each year. With that said, arrange your tickets as soon as possible to ensure that you do not miss out on Tuscaloosa's original beer festival. Prost!
