Turtles announce 30th anniversary Happy Together Tour roster and dates

The Turtles will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their annual Happy Together Tour with another star studded line-up of guests when they hit the road in 2014.

According to an news update at Pollstar.com, the veteran Los Angeles rockers, featuring founding frontmen and ex-Mothers of Inventions stars Flo & Eddie, have added veteran 60s star Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, as well as ex-Grand Funk Railroad frontman Mark Farner to the roster along with returning guests ex-Three Dog Night vocalist Chuck Negron and Gary Lewis & The Playboys.

Commenting on the new lineup additions, Flo (a.k.a. Mark Volman) says, “This Happy Together Tour 2014 sizes up to be the strongest and most rocking summer we’ve had so far. The artists who are with us make us excited to get started and the audience is in for a great night of music and memories.”

The new 2014 Happy Together Tour kicks off June 7 in Biloxi, Miss. at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi and winds up Aug. 27 in Pueblo, Colo., at Colorado State Fair Events Center.

The lone Canadian date confirmed so far is Aug. 24 in Winnipeg, MB at Club Regent Casino.

Ticket information on the Winnipeg date is TBA.
