STATUS: SINGLE.
We don't normally run celebrity gossip here at the Comedy Examiner's Office, but judging from the amount of hatemail we receive every time we make a joke about HBO's "Entourage" (hint: they're all misspelled), there are plenty of fans for that particular show that read our stuff. Furthermore, we are fans of the gorgeous Jamie Lynn-Sigler around here, so this item is a double-shot of relevant to us. Read on for the gossipy news, my gentle Examiner readers...
We'll make this short and bittersweet, because we're not really all that into celebrity gossip around here. That said, we are fans of pictures of Jamie Lynn-Sigler, so this article gives us ample reason to run one (you may have noticed it up there on the right).
Jerry Ferrara, better known as "Turtle" from HBO's douche-a-palooza "Entourage" has broken up with Jamie Lynn-Sigler, better known as "Meadow Soprano" on HBO's dearly departed "The Sopranos". Here's what they're saying over at the NYDailyNews site:
The two, who had been dating since October 2008, have decided to go their separate ways, according to a source close to the "Sopranos" actress. Rumors started swirling when Sigler showed up solo for last Tuesday's screening of "It's Complicated" at the W Hotel in L.A.
"She came with a few girlfriends, and they drank wine all night. They looked like they were having a good time," a partygoer dished, confirming that Ferrara was nowhere in sight.
Yeah, we usually have a good time when no one from "Entourage" is around, too. This news doesn't really inspire any further commentary from us, other than to note that Jamie Lynn-Sigler is back on the market. This will come as good news to anyone that has seen pictures of Jamie Lynn-Sigler. As for Jerry Ferrara, we wish him the best.
In fact, we're hoping that he moves on to a new relationship quickly, becomes so involved with the new girl that he neglects his duties on "Entourage", leading to his termination from the show, which in turn causes a chain reaction that leads to HBO cancelling "Entourage". See how that's supposed to work? Besides, doesn't sound like Ferrara's having too difficult a time dealing with the breakup:
Meanwhile, Ferrara spent his weekend gallivanting in L.A. - a spy inside West Hollywood hot spot Voyeur saw the HBO star enjoying himself on Saturday night with Kevin Connolly and quite a large female "Entourage."
"Kevin and Jerry arrived around 11 with a group of girls," a source inside the club said. "They were dancing and hanging out and didn't leave until after 2 a.m.
