Today the historic "Tampa Theater", in Tampa Florida will become host a kick-off for Turner Classic Movies “Road to Hollywood Tour”. Tonight they will be presenting a free screening of the 1977 blockbuster film “Smokey and the Bandit”. One of the films stars Burt Reynolds will be on hand for a VIP actors studio type Q& A session prior to the screening and exclusive photo opportunity.
The event is part of the promotions for the TCM Classic Film Festival which takes place in Hollywood, California starting April 28-May 1. The TCM “Road to Hollywood Tour” is scheduled to travel to 10 major cities across the USA offering FREE screenings at each location. Each of the screenings will feature appearances by legendary stars such as Ernest Borgnine, Angie Dickinson, Tippi Hedren, Shirley Jones, Jane Powell, Angela Lansbury and Burt Reynolds.
