I'm not sure how many times Turkish Airlines, Europe's best airline as voted by Skytrax and the Ivy League have been mentioned in the same sentence, but they will be now- and it's a very good thing.

This week Turkish Airlines proudly announced their sponsorship of the Ivy Life Alumni Network, a very widespread all-Ivy business networking community with more than 50,000 members and 30 chapters worldwide. A very influential organization.

In related news, Turkish Airlines is also the official sponsor of Harvard-Yale Rivalry on Ice Hockey Game at Madison Square Garden. A great tie-in for the Ivy League.

“We are very proud to be associated with Ivy Life, one of the country’s most prestigious alumni associations,” says Faruk Çizmecioğlu, Chief Marketing Officer of Turkish Airlines. “Our collaboration will heighten awareness of the many benefits of Turkish Airlines such as our award-winning cuisine, unsurpassed service, and wide global network, now traveling to more countries than any other airline.”

Turkish Airlines flies from a total of five U.S. cities: New York; Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; Chicago and Houston. Coming in May, the airline will open its sixth gateway in Boston.

Ivy Life’s international members will really benefit from this partnership. The airline will reach the Ivy Life members and other alums through the sponsorship of the alumni association’s prestigious events, including the popular upcoming

“Rivalry on Ice” hockey showdown between Harvard and Yale on Jan. 11 at Madison Square Garden.

It also promoted at the annual Harvard vs. Yale football game. Turkish Airlines will also offer special promotional offers and giveaways to Ivy Life members at local alumni events, which include Ivy League golf events.
