Turkish Airlines announces expansion of business class on Houston flights

Turkish Airlines, voted Europe's best airline for three years running is doing something a little special for those traveling in and out of its Houston gateway.

That would be expanding Business Class seating capacity from 28 to 49 seats.

That's a lot of extra leg room.

It starts with flights on July 28 and Houston passengers will love the upgraded in-flight service and delicious award-winning cuisine. The expansion will coincide with the upgrade to Boeing 777 planes in and out of Houston.

All of Houston should be excited by the attention Turkish Airlines is showing the Texas city.

Houston Business Class travelers should also know that the airline recently revamped its Turkish Corporate Club Premium (TCCP) Program. This program provides companies, local organizations and business travelers a fast and unique travel experience with a ton advantages. Those would include discounted flights, rebooking/rerouting flexibility, and exclusive baggage allowances for flyers.

Turkish Airlines remains one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, With flights to 257 destinations in 107 countries, it's makes it number one in terms of countries an airline flies to.

In the first five months of 2014, Turkish Airlines experienced an 18 percent increase in passenger numbers from 18.1 million to 21.3 million compared with the same time period last year.

At the helm of the Houston gateway is Adem Ekmekci, General Manager, Turkish Airlines Houston.
