The Toys N Turkeys Run for the Salvation Army and sponsored by Abate Local 27, Geezers MC, Jams Sportswear, KCAL 96.7 FM and Discount Hydroponics in Riverside and that is where this event took place.
The run started at 10:00 a.m. and wrapped up around 6:00 p.m. During the day riders came in to donate toys, food and other items for the food drive. This was also the collection point for the several donations at various businesses throughout the inland empire.
This was also the time for participants who bought Sponsor Appreciation Score Cards at the Abate Local 27 Not a Poker Run back in October at the American Legion Hall, the Score Card had places of various local businesses that people visited to get stamped and if they spent money there and got their receipts stamped they got extra tickets for a change to win some money. The Grand Prize was Three Hundred Dollars. The business that participated were:

Rubidoux Tire and Brake in Rubidoux.
During the afternoon the Salvation Army gave Certificates of Appreciation to Discount Hydroponics, Abate local 27 and Geezers MC.
In addition to several barrels of toys, eight hundred ninety six turkeys were acquired along with a few pallets of non-perishable food plus five hundred pairs of slippers were donated
To keep the run attendees busy there was a raffle every hour and several vendors one had patches, seats, helmets and other motorcycle related gear. Hot dogs and hamburgers were being grilled all day over by the side of the building.
This is the eighteenth time this run has taken place and the donations get bigger every year and it all started with twenty turkeys according to Jack Howell of Abate Local 27 Riverside.

Abate Local 27 meets at the American Legion Post 79 in Fairmount Park first Tuesday of the Month at 7:00 p.m.
Geezers MC has a bike night at the Taco Station on Mission Inn Boulevard every Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
