If you just cannot face another turkey sandwich or turkey casserole, this recipe is sure to please. CopyKat’s recipe for Double Dave’s Thanksgiving Pizza puts a new spin on tired leftovers.

Traditional leftover ingredients are used with the addition of pizza dough. Stephanie offers excellent suggestions for substitutions if your leftovers are a bit on the skimpy side. Savory and tangy sweet, this recipe is so good it might become a regular family favorite.

Pizza dough is a snap to put together using a bread maker, or frozen dough is readily available in the local grocery store. If the stuffing has already disappeared, Stephanie suggests using a boxed stuffing substitute. It will be ready in less than 10 minutes, and the texture works very well with this pizza.

Ingredients list:

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1 cup turkey gravy
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 - 1 cup chopped turkey
  • 3/4 cup stuffing (if you do not have left over, Stouffer's Chicken Flavor can be used)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons jelled cranberry sauce

Complete directions and a step by step video can be found at CopyKat Recipes.

Have a happy and tasty holiday season!

Cheers!

Elizabeth
