Retro gaming has always been popular. There are plenty of sites that support it and gamers (me included) love playing older games that we grew up with. This is why the Wii's Virtual Console, Xbox 360's Arcade, and Playstation 3's PSN get a lot of love when releases games that are twenty years old.
The Playstation Network is brining some more retro games onto it's service, straight from the Turbografx 16. If you didn't get the chance to play the system when it first came out, well you really didn't miss anything but they do have some quality titles. The games will be released onto the PSN throughout January, but no concrete dates and prices have been set.
Here's a full list of games you can look forward to (sorry, no Splatterhouse).
- Alien Crush
- Bomberman '94
- Bonk's Adventure
- Dungeon Explorer
- Neutopia
- New Adventure Island
- Soldier Blade
- Super Star Soldier
- Victory Run
- World Sports Competition
