Tuned to yesterday

It’s time to get “Tuned to Yesterday” for an old time music concert.

Steve & Sheryl Hartz, owners of the local General Mercantile & Old Time String Shop, will be playing at the Camp Street Café in Crockett on July 19th (Saturday).

They are scheduled to appear at 8:00 p.m.

The General Mercantile & Old Time String Shop are a beloved part of our downtown neighborhood. Located next door to the fire station, it's like walking into the past when you stop by for a visit. Enjoy a old-fashioned drink, hand-crafted implements for the home, vintage toys for all ages, and watch Steve as he works on building or repairing all sorts of musical instruments by hand. Other instruments are also available for purchase. On Saturdays at about 2:00, acoustic musicians gather on the front porch (or inside, when weather makes it necessary) to play together for most of the afternoon. It's free to stop by and listen for awhile.

The Camp Street Café is well known for miles around as being a great place for Texas folklore and musical history. Please remember – smoke-free!

For more info, contact Steve or Sheryl at the Old Time String Shop in downtown Nacogdoches, or the Camp Street Café at 877-544-8656 or www.CampStreetCafe.com

Location: 215 South 3rd Street, in Crockett, Texas. It’s a small town – you can find it!

Hope to see many of you there.
