LINCROFT, NJ -- Brookdale's public radio station 90.5 the Night is hosting their 16th annual 'Brookdale Guitar Show' on Sunday, April 14 in the Donald D. Warner Student Life Center. Doors will open at 10am on the Lincroft campus, located at 765 Newman Springs Road, and tickets are currently on presale now for $10 and at the door for $12.
On the bill for attendees are an abundant of clinics on everything from tuning your guitar to starting up and managing your personal band. More than 30 vendors, including BC Guitars, Bob's Guitar Hospital, Guitar Heads and High Strung Studios, will have their tents pitched for fans and fellow musicians to come and ask any questions or socialize and enjoy a day of guitars and music.
Guitar enthusiasts in the area are getting hyped about this year's show.
"Personally I'm really excited to attend the instructional clinics and learn guitar tricks of the trade," Alex Ciulla, 24, of Hazlet states.
There are several perfomers that will be hitting the stage with sessions from Johnny Stompbox & The Stompers, Thomas Wesley and Vextion to name a few while at the same time leaving a little room for suprise or two.
The end result is a instructional yet relaxing day for both guitar and music buffs and for the radio hosts it is a day to get out of the studio and mingle. "What am I looking foward to? I'll tell you! I'm excited about the record vendors but more importantly it's a great day for the station and our awesome fans," Nick Messina, Co-Host of Brookdale's Morning Show, tells reporters.
