Tulsa got out in front early and never relinquished as it went on to an 80-62 victory against Marshall Saturday in Huntington, W.V.

Kelsee Grovey scored a game-high 20 points while Ashley Clark finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds, earning her third career double-double. Kadan Brady also scored
13 points and Loren McDaniel finished with 10.

"When you hit a shot and another and another, you think you are good shooters, and that is part of what shooting the ball is about, thinking you are good and that your shots will go in," Tulsa coach Matilda Mossman said. "It was fun watching us score points and watching us get a good lead. It is so much more fun to play with a lead than to try to come from behind."

The Golden Hurricane shot 49 percent (33-of-68) from the floor, hit half its shots (10-of-20) outside of the arc and connected on 57 percent (4-of-7) from the foul stripe.

The Thundering Herd were limited to 31 percent (19-of-61) from the field, 25 percent (7-of-28) in 3-point shots and 81 percent (17-of-21) from the free throw line.
