Tulsa Shock to host day of clinics

Betty Lennox, Ivory Latta, Jennifer Lacy and the Shock Basketball Academy will lead over 125 Tulsa area youth in a basketball clinic presented by Oklahoma Central Credit Union, Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. at the BOK Center. The clinic will emphasize basic basketball drills, shooting technique and the education and skills necessary to play at a professional level.

Following the clinic, Shock players will participate in the team’s annual Select-A-Seat event where season ticket holders will be able to upgrade their seats, and prospective fans have a chance to choose the best seat in the house for the 2012 season.

The day will conclude with a Shock Fantasy Camp. Shock players will transfer their on-court skills to the sideline and coach local corporate sponsors in the first ever Tulsa Shock Fantasy Camp. Sponsors will split into two teams and be coached by Lacy, Latta and Lennox in a 40-minute full-court game at the BOK Center, giving the participants a realistic feel of the Shock’s game day experience.
