Rashad Smith scored 20 points and James Woodard got 19 as Tulsa picked up its fourth straight win in a 71-52 rout of Florida Atlanitc Thursday night in Boca Raton, Fla.
D’Andre Johnson led the Owls with 12 points. Marquan Botley put up 11 and Justin Raffington got 10.
Tulsa led 34-18 at halftime by as much as 26 points, with a 70-44 advantage after a layup by Tim Peete with 3:38 left in the game.
The Golden Hurricane (14-12 overall, 9-3 in Conference USA) shot 48 percent (28-of-59( from the floor, 33 percent (4-of-12) from 3-point range and 69 percent (11-of-16) from the foul line, and had 42-32 rebounding adavantage.
Florida Atlantic (10-17, 5-7) shot 31 percent (15-of-48), 28 percent (5-of-19) in 3s and 74 percent (17-of-23) in free throws.
Tulsa continues its road swing with a trip to Miami, where it will meet Florida International at 1 p.m. central time.
