MCKNIGHTSTOWN, Pa. -- About five inches of snow had accumulated here, in south central Pennsylvania by 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, and continued to fall.
It may be the largest snow fall so far this season. 2014 continued a dry weather trend for the region. With a new brace of arctic air and a fast moving snow storm, officials responded by cancelling schools and other businesses.
The cold temperatures, so far this winter, have been a boon to the three ski resorts in the area. This has been one of the better winters, thus far, for area ski resorts.
