Marvel’s highly anticipated drama, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” finally arrived to ABC. Expectations were high as critics and fans had their doubts about the Marvel Universe TV spin-off, and the drama delivered. On Wednesday, September 25, Collider updated the TV ratings for this past Tuesday.
According to the source, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” brought in a very impressive 4.6 rating in the 18 – 49 demo, “making it the best drama series premiere on all of TV since 2009’s.” The ABC Marvel drama debuted with 11.9 million viewers. The drama by Joss Whedon, follows the adventures of the not-dead-after-all- Agent Coulson and the other agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Things didn’t go nearly as well for Fox. Their new cop comedy “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” drop 30% from last week’s 2.6 rating to 1.8, with 4 million viewers. “New Girl” followed by going from a 2.9 rating last week to 2.1, with 4.1 million viewers. “Dads,” Fox’s other new comedy, also dropped 28%.
