The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship makes another visit the area Thursday through Sunday, July 10th through 13th, heading north of the border to Bowmansville, Ontario’s Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix. The weekend also features the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, the Cooper Tire Prototype Lites, the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge, the SCCA Pro Racing Mazda MX-5 Cup and Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America.
On Wednesday, July 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., RaceFest will be held in Yonge-Dundas Square in downtown Toronto. The festival will include a live pit stop demonstration by the TUDOR Corvette Racing team featuring veteran driver Ron Fellows, an appearance by driver Kuno Wittmer from Montreal and Mobil 1 Racing simulators. Thursday, July 10th features practice and sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while qualifying takes place Friday, July 11th throughout the day, ending with the first IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge race at 5:40 p.m. Action kicks off Saturday, July 12th at 8 a.m., featuring racing action from the SCCA, Lamborghini IMSA GT3 and Continental Tire series; TUDOR Championship qualifying is scheduled from 5:20 to 6:20 p.m. More racing action hits the track Sunday, July 13th at 9:50 a.m., ending with the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix presented by Hawk Performance at 2:05 p.m.
