Tucson's Color Me Rad Run 2013 (Photos)

On a beautiful morning today in Tucson, Color Me Rad had its first 5K half marathon at Reid Park. Tucsonans came out in droves to participate in this one of a kind event: A non-competitive race of which runners are covered in a rainbow of color (a non-toxic cornstarch powder) throughout the duration of the route, as well as a dance party at the finish. The result is a beautiful, family friendly introduction to beginner marathon runners (who enjoy events with some personality like Tough Mudder). Color Me Rad Tucson 2013 profits benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona.
