If you love books, Tucson is the place to be in early March. The fourth largest book festival in the United States, the Tucson Festival of Books, takes place March 10-11 on the University of Arizona campus.
This free event will feature 450 authors participating in 300 presentations and workshops, plus 240 exhibitors. Author Luis Albert Urrea will keynote the Author's Table Dinner, March 9. Urrea's best-seller "Devil's Highway" won the 2004 Lannan Literary Award and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Other authors who have committed to attend the festival include: T.C.Boyle, Alice Hoffman, Elmore Leonard, Larry McMurtry, Diana Ossana, and Richard Russo.
The 2012 Tucson Festival of Books will be held:
Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 11, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Parking:
Parking on the U of A campus is free on the dates of the Festival. All garages and surface lots are free except the Second Street Garage, which is reserved for authors and moderators.
