Tuckers' - Not just the Blues Anymore!

To steal a line from Sly and The Family Stone - Hey music lovers!

Everybody has the blues sometimes.

But other times, not so much.  In fact, sometimes you feel really good, wanna get your party on, and you want something funky, upbeat, celebratory...well, you get my drift.

Put on your boogie shoes and get on over to Tuckers' Blues. Deep Ellum's newest venue for Blues is now serving up some hot, bubbling R&B on the side. On a recent weekend one could groove to the tunes of the legendary Gladys Knight and the fabulous Natalie Cole!

And now, as a shift  from open mic night,  Tuckers' is hosting Karaoke on Thursdays.

But of course, you can still get your Blues on with performances by some of the most renowned Divas in the universe, including Liz Mikel, Tamara PetersonSheran Keyton, Andrea Dawson and many more.  And let's not forget  guitar icons 'Texas Slim' Sullivan and the internationally acclaimed Lucky Peterson.  Each and every one of these master musicians are coming through Tuckers' on the regular, and serving up Blues and R&B, the likes of which you can't find anywhere else.

Last but not least, catch a Blues Jam Session every Sunday night in April for $5. You can barely rent a second-rate movie for that, people!

With the gorgeous spring weather we've been getting, it's time to get out into the balmy, breezy night and live it up. Tuckers' Blues is your place to be for the best live music in D/FW.

Tuckers' Blues is located in Deep Ellum's fabled Blues District, at 2617 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas 75226.

Come for the show, bring a date, bring your crew, or even host your birthday party at Tuckers'.  For more information call 214.744.BLUE.

See you there!
