The football game between the Universities of Tulsa and Oklahoma has a new date next fall.

It was announced Monday in press releases by both schools, that the game, originally scheduled for Sept. 20, was moved up to Sept. 6 so it can be televised by the ESPN Sports Network. It’s not known if ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 will be doing the telecast. Kickoff time has not been set for the game that will be played at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

TU was originally scheduled to play Colorado State on that day, but it will be rescheduled for Oct. 4. The rest of its 2014 schedule will not be announced until the American Athletic Conference releases its schedule.

OU was originally scheduled to play Tennessee on the new date it comes to Tulsa, but that game has been moved one week later on Sept. 13.

Another change is also on the Sooners’ schedule next fall. Their road game against West Virginia has been moved up from Sept. 27 to original date of the Tulsa game.
