In seventy-nine days the Cincinnati Gardens will be rocking once again, when the Cincinnati Rollergirls (CRG) kickoff the new season against the NEO Rollergirls on March23. But before that happens, the league will hold tryouts for the 2013 season this Sunday, January 6 at The Skatin’ Place. Tryouts begin at 9 A.M.and will go until noon.
Ladies trying out must be at least 18 years old. A big turnout is expected, so if you do not have your own gear such as pads or skates please arrive early to borrow what you need. Equipment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are bringing your own equipment, make sure it includes helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads and a mouth guard.
Prospective skaters need to email the recruiting office to RSVP for the event. The Skatin' Place is located at 3211 Lina Place, Cincinnati, OH 45239.
