The doorbell rang and LoveWithFood arrived. It comes in a red cardboard box and we have a lot of things to sample. Here are a few of the products available in our box:

Giddy Up granola, tiny packets of sea salt and peppers from The Spice Lab, small Key Lime Cookies from J&M, Praline Pecans from South Georgia Pecan Company, Sea Salt Caramels from Le Caramel, Sweet Potato Chips from One Potato, Two Potato and more…

We conducted an interview just recently with a LoveWithFood representative and here is what we found out:

Q.: Do the contents vary from month-to-month?

A.: Our goal each month is to delight and surprise our customers with new, healthy, and all-natural snacks. The items and the brands in the box are different every month, so that our subscribers are constantly introduced to unique and delicious snacks that they may never have tried before. Each month we organize the snacks around a fun, seasonal theme, such as Derby Days (May), Take Me Out to the Ball Game (June), and Happy Camper (July).

Q.: What are the shipping costs?

A.: Shipping costs for the tasting box vary depending on the subscription plan. Subscribers to our annual plan receive free shipping - while those who select our 6-month plan pay $1 shipping per month, and the monthly subscribers pay $2 shipping per month.

Q.: Can you explain the term, "Organic"?

A.: All of the contents in our box are all-natural - we make a promise to our customers never to include any artificial colors or flavors, trans-fats, hydrogenated oils, or high-fructose corn syrup. Whenever possible, we try to include organic items, as certified by the USDA. USDA Organic certified items have been grown according to federal regulations addressing soil quality, pest and weed control, and use of additives, among other factors.

Q.: Where does the typical charity benefit go?

A.: We donate to a range of charities helping to feed children in the US - including both local food banks and national organizations such as Feeding America. To date, we have donated over 250,000 meals, and we have donated to local food banks in all 50 states. Readers can access a map illustrating all of these donations on our website at

LoveWithFood is announcing a partnership with 2 Degrees. The partnership will help combat hunger in the US through double the amount of donations to Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. For every LoveWithFood box and 2 Degrees Food bar sold, two meals will be donated to the charity.
