The Assistance League of Everett is a wonderful non-profit organization which provides help to local children and families in need. It deserve any and all support (via donations, time or money) the community can offer.
A fun way to help them out is to attend their Cooks' Home Tour on Monday, September 10. The fundraiser allows ticket holders to try cuisine from different chefs while touring six amazing homes in the Everett area. The proceeds will help provide children in need with new school clothing and supplies through their Operation School Bell
A map will be given out with the entrance ticket allowing participants to design their own route for the self-guided tour. The homes will all be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a chef providing tasty tidbits in each of the house kitchens.
Tickets are $30 each with $25 of the amount being tax deductible. Tickets are available at the Assistance League at 5107 Evergreen Way in Everett.
The six chefs providing the specialty samples include:
Alex Tomes of Lombardi's
Cindy Hilliard of Briar Laine Chef Service ~ serving pickled asparagus with Black Forest ham and goat cheese.
James Abbot of Buck's American Cafe
Louis Morales of Anthony's in Kirkland
Luca Nasti of Luca's Ristorante
