Local food makes a great holiday gift. Homemade recipes, and locally grown or produced items provide the gifted with a bite of north Texas culture. Some local items that can be used as gifts include homemade baked goods, artisan breads and goodies from local bakeries, or locally produced jams, jellies, preserves, coffees, teas, and nuts.

Many foods can be found at local farmers markets. It is not too late to attend a local market for holiday gift shopping. Listed below are the last market days in north Texas for the year.
