'Truth Be Told': Truth or consequence?

The truth really does set one free and for regular viewers of Walmart and P&G's Family Movie Night on Fox, Saturday, April 16 8pm/7pm CT, the values of truth telling will be highlighted in the highly engaging family movie, TRUTH BE TOLD.

TRUTH BE TOLD focuses on the moral dilemma of top marriage counselor Annie Morgan, whose big professional break comes in the form of a relationship talk show. Afraid that her being single and unattached might ruin her career opportunities, she talks an old friend and recent widower Mark Crane to agree to pose as her husband. Trouble begins when both of them get invited to spend a weekend with her new boss.

TRUTH BE TOLD, directed by Jonathan Frakes of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION fame, puts the spotlight on the values that get taken for granted or sacrificed in a person's quest for success. Does one sacrifice integrity for personal achievement and recognition? How difficult is it to courageously do the right thing especially when faced with a great challenge or presented with seemingly very difficult choices?

Starring Candace Cameron Bure (FULL HOUSE, MAKE IT OR BREAK IT), Ronny Cox (ST. ELSEWHERE, BEVERLY HILLS COP) and David James Elliott (JAG), TRUTH BE TOLD is Family Movie Night's fifth offering since CHANGE OF PLANS shown in January, which garnered more than three million household viewership and touched countless lives with its message of compassion and self-sacrifice.

In a recent interview with this writer, co-producer Front Porch Entertainment's Lance McAlindon said that the Family Movie Night gives all members of the family an entertainment that they can watch.
