“So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free’ (John 8:31-32).”
This concept of truth is a profound thought or ideal to be able to comprehend and fully accept. Before we can understand truth, we must first learn to trust our Lord Jesus, through praying and devotion to Him. The miracle of truth is given to those who ask for it.
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith (Matthew 21:22).”
If we require truth, we must ask our Lord for the truth in which we feel we need to know. Sometimes this truth will not be presented plainly but rather a bit more obscurely. During these times, we must ensure we are praying more often to ask God that He tell us in His time and now our own.
Remember that all will happen in the time according to God. If you ask for something whether it is knowledge, truth, or understanding, it may not arrive at the moment you expect it to arrive. We must acknowledge the fact and truth that God knows all and things seen and unseen. This implies that we, as humans, do not see the whole picture. Therefore, there will be things we are not meant to know, if ever.
Do not fret when you ask and do not receive. Sometimes that in which we ask and not receive, we will receive at another time. Be prepared for anything. Train your mind and heart for any tribulation that will come your way. Be strong and know that our Lord Jesus Christ is with you.
To prepare oneself for tribulation can seem quite impossible. However, do not allow the impossibilities of man to hinder your ability to trust God. Trust in the Lord, with all your heart, mind, body, and soul. Keep in continuous prayer with our Lord, even though times may appear good, that does not mean you need God any less.
Beloved, keep these thoughts in mind. Remember to always discuss things with God. Only through Him, can you know or understand what it is you need to know. Continue to stay in communication with our Lord that He may show you the way according to His will. Trust Him, and trust that your life is in His loving Hands.
