Donald Trump has threatened to sue the creator of an online “Dump Trump” petition that has gained over 680,000 signatures. Reality TV Magazine reported on Feb. 20 that petition is for getting the millionaire off the Macy’s campaign.
The petition first showed up online at the end of 2012, and has gained a lot of steam in the months following. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has decided enough is enough.
Trump has threatened a $25 million suit against the creator of the petition, Angelo Carusone, and is demanding that the online “Dump Trump” petition be removed.
However, Angelo isn't scared of Trump’s threatened suit. “Donald Trump’s attempt to silence me will not work. I've dealt with enough bullies and know better than to succumb to intimidation. By threatening me, Trump is only reinforcing the point that we’ve been trying to get Macy’s to recognize: that Trump’s brand is consequence-free bullying and chicanery; it shouldn't be rewarded,” Carusone revealed in a statement.
