True-Name Nemesis - 1UU
Creature - Merfolk Rogue (Rare)
As True-Name Nemesis enters the battlefield, choose a player.
True-Name Nemesis has protection from the chosen player. (This creature can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything controlled by that player.)
True-Name Nemesis is truly invisible to one of your opponents. In multiplayer games True-Name Nemesis is a blocker (barring trample) and attacker that your rival just won't be able to deal with at all. Your adversary will need to solicit the help from one of the other players in the game in order to deal with True-Name Nemesis.
True-Name Nemesis immediately looks like it has potential in Legacy, where Master of the Pearl Trident and friends can make this killer Merfolk even better. Unlike Progenitus True-Name Nemesis isn't hard to cast and can be a nightmare for your opponent to deal with. The only way your for your foe to destroy True-Name Nemesis is if they're playing with mass removal spells such as Terminus and Supreme Verdict or have cards that force you to sacrifice creatures like Far/Away and Liliana of the Veil.
