'True Blood' star Anna Paquin lands project for filming hiatus

Being on a cable show like "True Blood" certainly has its perks -- you spend a good many months out of the year filming, but then you also have a decent span of time to go off and work on some other projects during the hiatus.

According to a new report, Paquin is joining Tom Hiddleston and Elijah Wood for an upcoming thriller entitled "Black Wings Has My Angel." This project will give Paquin just another screen credit, which bodes well for her once "True Blood" does end (whenever that may be).

Paquin is hardly the only star of the show who books other film and TV projects during the filming hiatus. Ryan Kwanten, Alexander Skarsgard, and Stephen Moyer are just some of the actors who have signed on to other film projects as of late.

As for when you can expect to see more action in Bon Temps, season 5 of "True Blood" premieres this summer on HBO.
