When “True Blood” returns to HBO in June, it seems that a new vamp will be coming to Bon Temps and he will be causing a bit of trouble in someone’s love life. Hypable reported on March 5, that the new character is Wes, a sexy 20-something vamp with a heart.
Wes, who will first appear in episode 6, is said to become involved in a triangle involving Jason and a yet unknown vampire. Some are speculating that the vampire in the middle with be Jessica. When we last saw the pair, Jessica was trying to repair her relationship with Stackhouse, who saw a vision of his parents who did not approve of the relationship.
Wes will be a recurring character during the upcoming season six, but will become a Bon Temps regular in season seven. No word yet on who will be cast as the guitar-playing hottie, but he will be joining several other new characters. The new Governor and his daughter will be headed to town, and the Gov. has an axe to grind with the vampires. We will be seeing more of Warlow, who killed Sookie and Jason’s parents, and Alcide’s pop, Jackson Herveaux, will also have much more of a presence in Bon Temps during the upcoming season.
