"True Blood" will return to Channel 200 in Tempe this summer. On Thursday, Jan. 17, Fans Share shared the latest comments made by Joe Manganiello about the upcoming sixth season. Production has begun on the next season of "True Blood" for HBO. Manganiello is the actor behind the wolf Alcide, and the character will go through big changes in the upcoming season. Manganiello teased the following about what is next for his character:
"[It’s] racier. My character’s taken over the wolf pack, so as an alpha, and a pack of dogs, you gotta regulate, you gotta set it straight with everybody so there’s some violence. It’ll be fun."
This upcoming season will be two episodes shorter than last season, and there is a new person in charge of the series after Alan Ball's exit. Manganiello said the following about what he has seen of season six by reading the scripts he has so far:
"This is Season 6 and the first couple scripts I read – I think they’re doing a lot of stuff that they maybe held back on the past couple years. They’re pretty wild. I think it’s going to be a pretty wild season. Wednesday night I start shooting, so I really hope it warms up by then or it’s going to be a really tough night."
