"True Blood" is getting ready to return to Channel 200 in Tempe. On Wednesday, March 13, Hypable shared new photos from the set of the series featuring Rutger Hauer. Season six of "True Blood" is currently in production, and fans are now being given their first glimpse at a new character on the series. The character is named Macklyn, and he is played by Rutger Hauer. It has been revealed that the character has ties to Jason and Sookie in previously released spoilers. Macklyn is shown with Jason, who is played by Ryan Kwanten, in the new photos.
As for the series, TV Line also has revealed new spoilers about a new love triangle coming soon to this series. Previously released spoilers have also teased the arrival of a new love triangle involving Jason. The site revealed the following new details about another character involved in the triangle:
"She’s Violet, a hot-as-hell, tough-as-nails blood-sucker in, give or take, her 600s (though she’ll look about 25). Not only do I hear that she’ll be mixed up in a major love triangle, the role will go from recurring this season to series regular the next."
